Automotive Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA)

A two year extension is available on the 12 months provided by your ATRA repairer.

Two options are available:

$2500.00 claim limit or
$5000.00 claim limit

No excess applies in the event of a claim and cover expires 36 months after the rebuild date, or 60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. A request for cover must be made within 14 days of the transmission rebuild date.

It is a condition of the warranty that the vehicle transmission be serviced by an ATRA repairer at least every 12 months or 20,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

The warranty is transferable between owners during the policy period subject to payment of a $20.00 transfer fee.

Claims are made by returning the vehicle to the ATRA member who performed the re-build.
